Aegis Risk Management Ltd. was incorporated in 2017 for the purpose of providing fire and community safety consulting to local governments and private sector clients. The company is based on Vancouver Island and operates in British Columbia and across Canada. Prior to incorporating, Craig Richardson (the Principal Consultant) completed a very successful and rewarding 30-year fire service career retiring in 2017 as Fire Chief in the City of Nanaimo.
The business model is simple, flexible, and efficient. Craig is the principal consultant and project manager. On larger, more complex projects, a team of qualified subject matter experts is assembled from Craig’s deep and broad network of fire service professionals from across Canada and internationally. This ensures we meet your specific needs, while at the same time allowing the consultancy to remain streamlined to maximize quality and value for our customers.
